How bank stocks will drag on the wider stockmarket (The Aust 03/12/19)

Since the coalition victory in May, self-managed super fund investors have strongly supported the domestic Australian equity market as a source of yield.

The banking sector is the core of the domestic Australian equity market.

I would argue though that the banking sector for many investors is the core of the Australian dividend yield market.
