Luke Donovan

Luke is the Portfolio Manager for the Apostle Carbon Credit Fund. His extensive knowledge of Carbon Markets stems from his 15 years’ experience in Carbon Markets. Prior to joining Apostle, Luke was the Executive Director of Carbon and Power Markets at Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA), responsible for CBA’s Carbon Emissions trading globally. This role involved significant participation in trading across Europe, USA and Asia Pacific. Luke was integral to establishing CBA’s presence in the Australian Carbon Market. Prior to CBA Luke was an Investment Strategist and Advisor and Ilwella the office of the Flannery Family. Here he drove investment strategy for their portfolios, including origination, execution, and implementation of new deals. Luke started his career at Origin Energy where he spent a decade building out Australia’s largest industrial customer portfolio in energy and carbon trade.

Luke holds a Bachelor of Business, is AFMA accredited and a former member of key industry committees, including the Australian Stock Exchange Energy Markets Committee and AFMA Electricity Markets & Environmental Products Committees.
