About the role

The business is seeking an Associate Advisor.

HWP is a premium service that is dedicated to advising clients who own or run highly successful businesses, are well established investors or members of multi-generational family businesses.

Our clients require a highly tailored and specialised level of service.

The role involves:

  • Supporting the Advisors in day-to-day administration and meetings, enabling them to maximise their productive time with clients.
  • Preparation of Investment Proposals.
  • Ascertaining data for review of portfolios.
  • Preparing Client Reviews and other client related documentation.
  • Review client files to ensure compliance with legislation and best practice.
  • Collate information and assist preparing comprehensive client advice.
  • Interfacing with Clients, providing an exceptional client experience.
  • Continuously improving, maintaining, and implementing procedures, ensuring compliance, and maximising efficiency.
  • Participate in team meetings.
  • Report writing & investment recommendations with a focus on structure and strategy.
  • Attend client interviews as and when required.
  • Assist in implementation of plans from data collection forms, plans and instructions to proceed.
  • Provide professional and ethical behaviour in your actions by ensuring compliance with eternal legislation and internal operating policies.
  • Responsibilities for health and safety has been assigned to all employees.

To succeed in this role

You will need the following attributes:

  • Degree qualified in Finance or similar discipline and two to four years practical experience in the workplace.
  • Passion for investment markets
  • High attention to detail, ability to multi-task, a sense of accountability, and an eagerness to learn and grow within the business.
  • Strong data analysis skills and report preparation experience.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise workloads.
  • Excellent communication, both verbal and written.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a high level of motivation.
  • An inquisitive and growth mindset

Understand and comply with expected levels of performance and conduct as outlined in relevant legislation, compliance training modules, employment contracts and firm policies and procedures.
