Rob joined SG Hiscock & Company in February 2024 as Chief Investment Officer and Head of SGH Individual Portfolios. He has the overall responsibility for the Individual Portfolio business and for developing the key investment strategy views for SGH.

His 35-year investment management career has spanned both strategy and economics, and has included the management of Australian and international equity portfolios, and Australian and international fixed interest portfolios.

Rob has joined from UniSuper where he worked across two different roles – most recently as Head of Fixed Interest and Macro Research, and prior to that as Head of Global Equities.

Before this, Rob was Head of Capital Markets and Asset Allocation at Frontier Advisors and spent 10 years as Equity Strategist and Australian Equities Portfolio Manager for Colonial First State Asset Management.

Rob holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Arts (Hons) from the University of Melbourne, and a Masters in Applied Finance from Macquarie University.
